We endeavour with our FAQ to answer as many questions as possible to guarantee you a wonderful stay with us. In case your question is not answered by our FAQ, please fill in the form so that we can help you with your question as soon as possible. We look forward to hearing from you.
We recommend a maximum of 6 months in advance but at least 1 month before the trip is due to start. Even within this period, flight and activity prices vary greatly. There is no last minute discount on these holidays.
We ask you to become part of the team and help with the daily work. Examples: Making a fire, chopping wood, fetching water, helping to prepare breakfast/dinner, washing up, etc. These things are part of the adventure, and the more you get involved, the greater the experience and the more fun you will have.
The following services are included:
- Flights from Berlin/Duesseldorf/Amsterdam to Luleå/Rovaniemi and back in Economy Class including taxes and fees and 1 piece of baggage per person
- Transfer from Luleå/Rovaniemi airport and back
- Accommodation in a 2-bed cosy wilderness cabin
- Breakfast, Swedish Fika and dinner
- Husky tour (2 guests per sledge)
- Snowmobile tour (2 guests per snowmobile)
- Excursion to the Polar Circle
- Use of the sauna in the cosy wilderness cabin
- Private and personal tours, only with you.
- Professional guide who speaks English and Dutch/German/Swedish
- Packing list, which we will provide to you with your booking.

The following travel documents are required:
- a valid identity card or passport
- a valid driving licence (recommended)
- a valid health insurance card
- proof of vaccination in case Swedish Border Control asks for it
The travel packages are generally not suitable for people with reduced mobility. Please contact us for more detailed information, taking into account your personal needs.
In general, the trips are suitable from the age of 12, as it is a private trip, we are very flexible and can adapt the programme to your wishes and abilities at any time.
Changes to the itinerary are possible, and the order of activities may change or activities may be cancelled if this is necessary due to snow or weather conditions.
- The minimum age for the driver of the snowmobile is 18 years, and a valid car driving licence is required
- Since it is a private trip, we need information from you about possible allergies and whether vegan cooking may be required
- The day usually starts at around 9am for breakfast. After we are finished, we will start with the daily activity and the preparation. When we come back from the activity there is time to relax, usually between 2pm and 6pm, depending on the activities, before we meet us for dinner. The day will end around 8pm and you can enjoy the time for yourself.
The broader season is winter. The best months and time are:
- December-February: Dark winter nights galore is awaiting you at this time of year. In fact, in the northern parts, there won’t be much daylight at all. The Northern Lights most commonly show off their colours between 5 PM and 2 AM.
Generally, the temperature in winter drops for a few days to -25 °C, but in the coldest winters it can go down to -36 °C. The coldest record in Morjärv was -45 °C.
- December is generally a freezing cold month. The average temperature is -10 °C. However, it can be also drop to -32 °C. There are on average 0 hours of sunshine per day. So, the sun shines 3% of the time.
- January is generally a freezing cold month. The average temperature is -12 °C. However, it can also drop to -41 °C. There are on average 0.5 hours of sunshine per day. So, the sun shines 15% of the time.
- February, the coldest month of the year, is generally a freezing cold month. The average temperature is -14 °C. However, it can also drop to -35 °C. There are on average 3 hours of sunshine per day. So, the sun shines 33% of the time.
- March is generally a very cold month. The average temperature is -9 °C. However, it can also drop to -20 °C. There are on average 5.5 hours of sunshine per day. So, the sun shines 47% of the time.
- April is generally a cold month. The average temperature is -4 °C. However, it can also drop to -11 °C. There are on average 7.5 hours of sunshine per day. So, the sun shines 48% of the time.
